4 Nights / 5 Days Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park & Lake Eyasi
This 5-day Road Safari through Tanzania’s Northern Circuit takes you to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park & Lake Eyasi. You will have chances to witness the great migration, spot the Big Five, marvel at the stunning landscapes, hunt with Hadzabe and visit the Datoga tribe. An unforgettable safari experience awaits you!
Day 1 :Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park
Morning game drive in the park with picnic lunch.
Tarangire National Park (2,600km2) has unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs. It is located about 120kms south of Arusha. Tarangire is known for its lions and very big herds of buffalo. This is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude. The animals includes zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, Maasai giraffe and fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Predators include lion, cheetah and leopard. Birders will want to look out for the endemic ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird.
Afternoon drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge
Day 2 :Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast embark on a morning crater tour with picnic lunch.
Descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour.
Explore the forest areas which are inhabited by monkeys and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.
Afternoon drive to Serengeti National Park
Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp Central Serengeti
Day 3 :Serengeti National Park
After breakfast morning and afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park (or full day game drive with picnic lunch) in search of migration. The Serengeti Migration (also referred to as “The Great Migration”) is arguably the greatest wildlife show on earth. It is the largest single movement of wildlife on earth in search of water, pasture and breeding grounds.
Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp Central Serengeti
Day 4 :Serengeti – Lake Eyasi
After breakfast collect packed lunch and depart for a morning game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
Mid-day drive to Lake Eyasi
Dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge
Day 5 :Lake Eyasi – Arusha
Early morning hunt with Hadzabe.
Animals are visible in the morning. When it is sunny the animals tends to hide themselves.
Return to the lodge for breakfast
After breakfast visit Datoga Village followed by lunch
After lunch drive back to Arusha and drop-off at your hotel.

Special Notes:
1 | For clients’ safety and that of people, our driver-guides are not allowed to exceed a speed of 50KPH to 80 KPH on the Taramac. These are the laws of the land |
2 | Game viewing from vehicles is restricted to designated tracks/ roads and driving off road is not allowed except in specified areas; please check with your driver-guide. |
3 | Night driving is not allowed in the parks (from 1900hrs evening to 0600hrs in the morning), except where night game drives are permitted like in Lake Manyara National Park. |
4 | For any extra excursions or activities not included in the Itinerary that you would want to purchase, please contact the Head of the File shown at the bottom of the Itinerary for arrangements |
5 | It is illegal to own or carry government trophies (wildlife parts and products) without a permit from the Tanzania Wildlife Division. For visitors who have purchased trophies from other countries, they are required to have import license and a receipt while in Tanzania. This is in line with the heightened conservation awareness on the part of the general public and increased surveillance by government agencies especially at points of entry and exit in Tanzania. |
6 | Use of drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) of any size for photo taking, filming and any other purpose is not allowed in the game parks. |
