Spend more time exploring the vast Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives as we search for the abundant wildlife that inhabits the area. Begin with an early morning game drive along the Mara River, timed to catch the herds gathering at the water’s edge. With luck, you’ll witness a dramatic river crossing as wildebeest and zebra brave crocodile-infested waters in one of nature’s most electrifying spectacles. Pause midday for a scenic bush lunch, laid out by your guide in the shade with sweeping views over the plains, before heading back out for an afternoon game drive in search of the resident predatorslike lion, cheetah, and leopard that follow the migration. Enjoy lunch at the Crater Rim. Late afternoon, drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

  7. Day 9: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab-studded landscapes and some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
