Witness the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater’s vast landscapes, embark on a game drive in Central Serengeti to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration and go on in a game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. This family-friendly safari provides an opportunity to experience East Africa’s wildlife while staying in comfortable lodges.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and after undertaking customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to your hotel for some replenishment, rest and relaxation for the night, ready for the fabulous safari experience that await.

Day 2 : Arusha- Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, the driving is via Arusha city to attractive high lying farmland of Karatu and up to Ngorongoro gate, after check in you will drive more up and along the Crater rim, you may stop for some nice pictures at the crater view point. More drive around the Crater rim and down to the “Wild rich” The Serengeti National Park with its endless rolling plains.
On the way you may visit one of the Masai village whereby some Masai warrior invites you & give you a brief story of their life around this area (optional). Later they will sing and dance their famous song which involving jumping high. From there drive further with en-route game drive to Naabi Hills Gate for check in before heading to the Central Serengeti Park area called Seronera. Picnic lunch will to be served at the kopjes (Rocky outcropping). Afternoon game drive in search of the Wildebeest Migration, later drive to your camp during or before the sunset for dinner & overnight.

Day 3-4 : Game Drives Serengeti
Enjoy game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You have an option of breaking the day into two by doing morning and afternoon game viewing, drive through the central Serengeti in the golden light of dawn looking for special wildlife interactions and photographic opportunities, whereby, you will depart from the lodge at first light with a picnic breakfast for a big day in search of the biggest herds of the great migrations. The Central Serengeti and Seronera river valley are home to a great diversity of wildlife due to its unique ecological niches as a transition zone where two distinctly different habitats, the plain and the woodlands merge and various species of wildlife from both habitats can coexist.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
On this day as early as 06:30 you can do another early morning game drive and carry your breakfast & lunch box. Spend much time in Serengeti doing game drives before starting your en-route game drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area & decent 600 meters into the crater floor for exciting game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is referred by many as one of the world natural wonders. Supported by yearly water supply and fodder, the crater supports a larger number of animals which includes herds of wildebeest, African elephants, eland, zebra, hippos, warthog, buffalo and many antelopes. The rare black rhino & the big 5 can be spotted in this area in the course of one day of game drive. Packed lunch will be served at the crater floor.
After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, late in afternoon you will drive to Ngorongoro Highland for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro–Lake Manyara National Park-Arusha
On this day after breakfast collect picnic lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, the ever-green park nestling at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley with overlapping habitats which supports a large number of animal species including the famous Lake Manyara tree climbing lions, giraffe, elephant, zebra, buffalo, leopard, hyena and many more.
Afternoon drive back to Arusha, if you wish you may visit Mto wa Mbu market or any Masai market on the way before reaching Arusha in late afternoon.
