Overview
This fly in Serengeti luxury safari (Mara River Wildebeest Migration) starts and ends at Zanzibar Airport. This safari can be extended for more days in the Serengeti and other Northern Tanzania parks. It can also be customized to include a flight from/back to Dar es Salaam (DAR), Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) before or after the safari. Tour Plan
Day 1: Zanzibar – Serengeti National Park
Fly from Zanzibar Airport at 07:35hrs and arrive in Serengeti at 11:05hrs.
On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, meet your professional and well-experienced local English-speaking safari driver guide.
After greetings, he will give you a short pre-safari briefing and then embark on game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti, one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km, is home to some three million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes with the southern region being dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about two million wildebeest, half a million zebra and some quarter million antelope to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come.

Day 2-3 :Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
The Great Migration (also referred to as “Serengeti Migration”) is arguably the greatest wildlife show on earth. It is the largest single movement of wildlife on earth in search of water, pasture, and breeding grounds. Other than the great migrating herds you seek, you may also see cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, wildebeests, hartebeests, topis, elands, crocs, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, amongst many more. With over five hundred bird species identified, the park is a veritable ornithological paradise, ostrich abound, secretary bird, marabou stork, and the largest flighted bird on Earth, the kori bustard. You will seek out these creatures with the keen intuition and experience of your “wild guide” and, with the day drawing to a close, you will wend your way to your lodge to unwind, dine, and take your ease by the fire under the endless East African sky.

Day 4: Serengeti – Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
