This Serengeti Luxury Safari Fly-in focuses on the Mara River Wildebeest Migration, starting and ending at Zanzibar Airport. You can extend this safari to include more days in the Serengeti and other Northern Tanzania parks. It can also be customized to include flights from or back to Dar es Salaam (DAR), Arusha (ARK), or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Day by day activities on Serengeti Luxury Safari
Day 1: Zanzibar – Serengeti National Park
Fly from Zanzibar Airport at 07:35 am, arriving in the Serengeti at 11:05 am. Upon arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, meet your experienced English-speaking safari driver-guide. After a brief introductionon about this Serengeti Luxury Safari, embark on a game drive in Serengeti National Park. You’ll have the chance to see great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, or spot a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Covering 15,000 sq km, the Serengeti is home to three million large mammals. The southern region’s lush grassy plains attract about two million wildebeest, half a million zebras, and a quarter-million antelopes seeking pasture during the autumn rains. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and overnight at Mara Mara Tented Lodge, located in North Serengeti near the Mara River.

Day 2-3: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Witness the Great Migration, the largest single movement of wildlife on earth, as animals search for water, pasture, and breeding grounds. Beyond the migrating herds, you may spot cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, wildebeests, hartebeests, topis, elands, crocodiles, and gazelles. With over 500 bird species, the Serengeti is an ornithological paradise, featuring ostriches, secretary birds, marabou storks, and the kori bustard, the largest flighted bird on Earth. Guided by your expert “wild guide,” explore the park’s diverse wildlife. As the day ends, return to Mara Mara Tented Lodge to unwind, dine, and relax by the fire under the vast East African sky.

Day 4: Serengeti – Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Depart at 10:15 am and arrive at 2:25 pm. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our Serengeti Luxury Safari services will conclude.
