4-Day Fly in Serengeti Luxury Safari the Great Migration

Overview

This fly in Serengeti luxury safari (Mara River Wildebeest Migration) starts and ends at Zanzibar Airport. This safari can be extended for more days in the Serengeti and other Northern Tanzania parks. It can also be customized to include a flight from/back to Dar es Salaam (DAR), Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) before or after the safari. Tour Plan

Day 1: Zanzibar – Serengeti National Park

Fly from Zanzibar Airport at 07:35hrs and arrive in Serengeti at 11:05hrs. On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, meet your professional and well-experienced local English-speaking safari driver guide. After greetings, he will give you a short pre-safari briefing and then embark on game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti, one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km, is home to some three million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes with the southern region being dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about two million wildebeest, half a million zebra and some quarter million antelope to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Mara Tented Lodge. Located in North Serengeti close to the river Mara in the Kogatende Area. Situated in the heart of the Migration.

Day 2-3 :Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

The Great Migration (also referred to as “Serengeti Migration”) is arguably the greatest wildlife show on earth. It is the largest single movement of wildlife on earth in search of water, pasture, and breeding grounds. Other than the great migrating herds you seek, you may also see cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, wildebeests, hartebeests, topis, elands, crocs, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, amongst many more. With over five hundred bird species identified, the park is a veritable ornithological paradise, ostrich abound, secretary bird, marabou stork, and the largest flighted bird on Earth, the kori bustard. You will seek out these creatures with the keen intuition and experience of your “wild guide” and, with the day drawing to a close, you will wend your way to your lodge to unwind, dine, and take your ease by the fire under the endless East African sky. Day 4: Serengeti – Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. ETD 10:15 am, ETA 2:25 pm. Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our services end.

  Great experience, great people, lots of animals, exceeded our expectations!!!
From start to finish, everything was very good and I can only recommend it. Lilian gave us very good advice and put together a perfect tour. Everything was without complications - thank you Lilian! We were warmly welcomed at the airport and after a short picnic we began a 5-hour safari. Baraka and tour guide and Deo our driver are very well trained and showed us all the animals to the best of our ability. We were all amazed and happy. This was always our dream. Our tour guide Baraka spoke excellent German. The hotel was also excellent and our second day continued with a great safari. We can highly recommend the 3-day tour and will always remember it. We just returned from a amazing 2 week stay in Tanzania. I came across this tour company in my search for the best places. Lilian took care of absolutely everything. We gave her a list of things of things we wanted to do along with our budget and put together an amazing trip for my husband and I. Eli was our guide through the parks and he was very knowledgeable about the animals and made sure we could see as much as possible….super nice guy!! The trip organized by Wild pride safari was excellent! Lillian was always available and would answer any questions we had within minutes. Deo was a great driver and guide too! Price was reasonable compared to other safari companies. When booking, no need to do city tour of Arusha. 2 days in Serengeti is enough and Ngorongoro Crater is a must. Tarangire is optional. We did 5 days safari but 3 days is enough. Lillian also planned for us to go to Zanzibar which was fun. She booked our local flights and allowed us to choose which hotels and lodges to stay at.   Perfect experience with a perfect organization
Hello, we went on a 5-day safari, organized by Wild Pride. They offer standard programs which did not really fit to our needs (travelling arrangements etc). I just gave them what I wanted and needed and everything was organized in a perfect and easy way. Communication was very easy - I had previously spoken with a different provider and they were incapable to react to my wishes. Driver - we had Deo as driver - a very nice guy, communicative and with a lot of background information he could give to us and even more important an absolutely professional driver. Animals - well, we saw them all, Deo knew the right spots, the Big Five of course and many many other animals and all close by. So really a great experience. Hotels - we stayed at the Four Season, the Melia at the Ngorongoro and the Melia at Arusha - all were perfect choices. Not the cheapest ones, but that was our selection, Wild Pride took care of a smooth organization. I usually don't write such positive reviews, but here really everything fitted very well and was adjusted completely to our needs. Therefore: at least 5 stars for Wild Pride!

  Amazing honeymoon - better than we imagined
Wild Pride Safaris did an amazing job planning our honeymoon. The tour operator was very responsive (often answered within 24 hours or less) and custom built an itinerary that suited our needs. They greeted us with roses for the bride as well as customized “Just Married” stickers with our names on the Safari vehicle. The hotel lodge accomodations were world class. Our driver, Deocary, was with us every step of the way and was very knowledgeable about the animals and the landscape. Thanks to him - we saw the entire Big 5 in one morning. Our driver Abdul was very experienced. As a driver as well as a guide. The roads were very difficult because of alle the rain but we didn't feel afraid at any point. Hakuna matata! Trip of a lifetime! Lillian organized our 15-day luxury safari and beach trip to Tanzania. She took care of everything. She is always available for any questions. As I was traveling alone with my 2 children (11 and 12), I had some apprehensions. Lillian always reassured me and we had the best trip ever. We felt safe everywhere. We also had the best driver/guide on the safari part of the trip. I love taking “professional” pictures and our driver himself took pictures as well and therefore understood the locations, lights etc. All of our accommodations were truly amazing. We were on safari for 6 days with the best guide (Ally) and then spent 6 days in Zanzibar. On the safari we visited 3 different national parks (Ngorongoro, Manyara Lake and Serengeti) and saw countless animals (including the big 5). The country is already fantastic, but thanks to perfect organization in advance and on the trip and with a guide who is so great (we asked him a ton of questions and he had the answer to everything), it was just perfect. Every day was superbly planned, from the transfer to the excursions to the lunch boxes, the accommodations were all hand-picked and the service and food were top notch. choosing Wild Pride Safaris was the best decision! The organization beforehand by Lilian was excellent and smooth, all wishes and ideas were taken into account. Our guide Ally was simply fantastic, he has extensive knowledge of the animals and their way of life, he also introduced us to Tanzania itself, we learned so much about the country and its people and the animals in this wonderful environment. We were out with Ally for 6 days, we always felt in good hands, one must say well protected, because great care was taken to ensure that we did not do anything that endangered our health (eating, drinking, mosquito repellent). Ally was also a very pleasant and considerate guide, very adept at hearing what we were interested in and incredibly skilled at finding and respectfully observing the animals. We saw all of the Big Five, as well as many, many other animals (elephants of all ages, zebras, wildebeests, various antelopes and gazelles, hippos, buffalos, birds of prey and songbirds, iguanas, ostriches, monkeys, leopards, cheetahs...). It was particularly exciting to see the lions hunting and, one day later, two pairs of lions mating. And not to forget three lionesses with cubs not 10 m away!! All in all, a fantastic experience!
